Solo-travel with me in Taitung Dulan🌊💗

This was my first time solo-travel to Taitung. It is a beautiful place that I will visit again and again. I made a lot of good friends at the hostel and during the swim in the ocean. I love the view on the way here by train, and I love that how the eastern Taiwan still preserves nature really well. You get to taste the rawness and beauty of nature but also the warmness from the people there. 📍East Coast Fugang Geopark (Xiaoyeliu) It’s a very good place if you are interested in geology and want to learn more about the geography in Taiwan. There are also many beautiful rocks. It is a place that brings you peace and tranquility. 📍Dulan Sugar Factory Café and Art Gallery You can see the sugar factory and learn about the history of the old age. There is also a lot of indigenous art work displayed there. 🌊Most of the time here I spent time with my friends in the ocean swimming and surfing. I actually don’t know how to surf, so I just tumbled in the water lol but I love ocean and water, so I had a great time there. 🌿I also had the chance to join a chanting meditation at Taitung Xiao Ma at 森林四季 📍2827+FXW 信義里 Taitung County, Chenggong Township You can take a bus to Xiao Ma bridge and walk a bit uphill to get there. 🥯Marino‘s Kitchen They have the best bread in this region! They also have hibiscus juice, which is locally grown in Taitung, so it’s really healthy. 📍959, Taitung County, Donghe Township, 436-3號 🏡Accomodation: WaGaLiGong They provide not only hostel but also service like surfing and SUP course. You can also rent surfing boards there. People who want to do work-exchange are also welcome there.
