As the familiar melody of "Picking Tea Dance" echoes in our ears, after visiting several tea gardens in Taishun, we naturally reached a consensus to visit the "Picking Tea Dance" Memorial Hall to gain a deeper understanding of the song and the city. When our car stopped at the entrance of the village, we could already feel the strong musical atmosphere. The village is surrounded by various "musical note" signs, and next to the music square is the Picking Tea Dance Memorial Hall. ➡️Recommended Check-in Points: 1⃣️Memorial Hall Inside the hall, in addition to a large collection of items used by Mr. Zhou Dafeng during his lifetime and precious materials of his creations, the development process of the world-famous song "Picking Tea Dance" is meticulously and comprehensively displayed to the world in five sections: preface, creation, glory, development, and inheritance. 2⃣️Dongxi Tulou A "nationally protected" cultural relic, this is where Mr. Zhou Dafeng composed the song in the rightmost room on the third floor during his fieldwork in Taishun. The tulou still retains its original appearance and is the birthplace of "Picking Tea Dance". 3⃣️First Singing House Located opposite the tulou. After Mr. Zhou Dafeng composed "Picking Tea Dance", he invited the owner of this house to sing the song for the first time.
