Explored two cool spots: vibrant Taipei and chill Qujing!

Explored two cool spots: vibrant Taipei and chill Qujing. Taipei blew me away with its legendary night markets, stunning river bridges, and awesome temples. Qujing is perfect for a slower groove, but this itinerary’s all about Taipei energy 🌆🔥 Must-See Places in Taipei: 1. Raohe Street Night Market (Raohe St, Songshan District, Taipei; open 17:00-23:00) — Come hungry! Snack on spicy stinky tofu, pepper pork buns, and bubble tea. It’s best after 7PM as the crowd gets lively. 2. Songshan Ciyou Temple (No. 761, Sec. 4, Bade Rd; open 05:30-22:30) — Swing by in the morning for a super local vibe and catch fascinating rituals. Don’t miss the rooftop dragon statues! 3. Rainbow Brg — Insta-perfect at sunrise/sunset! Wide open all day for river walks or nighttime color shows. Early morning is quietest for photos. 4. Liberty Square (No. 21 Zhongshan S Rd; open 24/7) — The plaza’s epic for people-watching or chilling with a drink. If you’re on foot, it’s easy to combine with... 5. Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall (Zhongzheng District; open 09:00-18:00) — Iconic white-and-blue monument with museums and gardens. Catch the hourly guard change for extra drama. Getting Around: Metro (MRT) is king—fast, spotlessly clean, and English-friendly. Buy an EasyCard at any station for tap-and-go rides on trains/buses. Night market areas get packed, so consider walking or short taxi trips (just hail from the curb). Food Hacks: Eat light before Raohe Night Market so you can sample everything. Vegetarian? Night markets offer delicious tofu and mushroom skewers. Useful Tips: No visa for short stays from most Western countries! Bring some cash—lots of cheap eats are cash only. Taipei weather is humid; pack light clothes and an umbrella for sudden rain. #taipeieats #nightmarketlife #taiwantips #easytravel #qujingexplored
