Taipei's famous chicken soup restaurant

Taipei Shuangyue Food Club is a well-known health restaurant that has been on the Michelin restaurant recommendation list for many years. It uses local Taiwanese ingredients and focuses on nourishing chicken soup 🐔, such as sesame oil chicken soup, clam stewed leg soup, etc., as well as braised pork rice, oysters and other specialties. The decoration inside the store is simple and plain, but the seats are relatively crowded. This restaurant has many stores in Taipei. This time we went to their Jinan store for lunch. Because it is so popular, in order to avoid waiting for a long time, we came to get a number at 10:30 in the morning, so that we could be the first to be seated when the store opened at 11 o'clock. We ordered clam stewed chicken soup, peeled pepper chicken leg soup, Dongshi fresh oysters 🦪, braised pork rice 🍚, love and hate pepper noodles and blanched sprouts. Both chicken soups seem to be well-made. In addition to chicken, the meat in the stew has a lot of cabbage, so the sweetness of the cabbage is a bit strong and covers the taste of the chicken. The fresh oysters are tender, but the taste is light. The braised pork rice is just average, but the love-hate pepper noodles are a surprise. Each noodle is covered with fragrant sesame paste, and the cone is rolled into a pleasing appearance. Overall, this meal is pretty good, but not amazing.
