From Savannah to Island: Exploring Taipei Zoo’s African and Madagascar Areas

During our visit to Taipei Zoo, one of the highlights was exploring the African Animals Area—a sprawling section that truly brings the African savannah to life. I was thrilled to see towering giraffes, white rhinoceroses, and zebras up close. Each zone felt thoughtfully designed, offering a glimpse into the diverse habitats and wildlife of Africa. Right next door was the Madagascar Animals Area, and it felt like stepping into another world. Ring-tailed lemurs darted around playfully, while Coquerel's sifakas impressed us with their acrobatic leaps.
