Exploring Beitou Hot Spring Museum

#chinatrip During my Taiwan trip, I visited the Beitou Hot Spring Museum, and it was such a unique experience! The museum beautifully preserves the history of Beitou’s hot springs, showing how they became a famous destination for relaxation and wellness. Walking through the Japanese-style bathhouse, I felt like I had stepped back in time. The architecture, the old wooden floors, and the nostalgic atmosphere made it an unforgettable visit. I was fascinated by the large public bath in the center of the museum, where people used to gather and soak in the hot springs. The exhibits also showcased traditional bath culture and how the natural mineral waters were believed to have healing properties. If you’re in Taipei and want to explore something different beyond the usual attractions, this hidden gem is definitely worth a visit!
