Lin An Tai Historical House, also known as Rong Tai House, is a traditional courtyard house located in Binjiang Park, Zhongshan District, Taipei City. Originally built during the Qianlong period in what is now Da'an District, it faced demolition in 1978 due to the expansion of Dunhua South Road. This sparked a heritage preservation movement, leading to the enactment of the Cultural Heritage Preservation Act. After being relocated in 1984, it now serves as a folk culture museum and is listed as a historic building. The house showcases traditional Minnan architectural style, with a courtyard surrounded by meticulously designed gardens that emphasize natural beauty and the concept of harmony between water and clouds.
