If you love Japanese-style old houses, you can't miss Qingtian Street when you visit Taipei. This tranquil alley, hidden in the hustle and bustle of the city, is filled with rich historical charm and poetic atmosphere. Some of these old buildings have been converted into cafes and restaurants, while others remain private residences. The entire street is surrounded by large trees, making the whole community more serene and pleasant. This time, I happened to visit Qingtian 76, a Japanese wooden building with a delicate garden landscape. As soon as you step in, you can feel the warmth of time. They serve exquisite Japanese set meals and desserts here. You can enjoy them quietly in the tatami room or sit in the small study room, read a book, and immerse yourself in this rare tranquility. Notably, there is a whole stone wall in a corner of the garden, engraved with Taiwan's birth flowers, waiting for you to discover your own flower.
