Family Adventures in Taiwan: Four Four South Village & Taipei 101

#familytravel During our family trip to Taiwan, we had the chance to visit the historic Four Four South Village, also known as 44 South Military Village. This unique spot was once a residential area for military families in Taipei. It’s now a preserved site showcasing traditional houses with vibrant windows and doors in blue, green, and red colors. Walking through the village felt like stepping into the past, with its rustic charm and peaceful atmosphere. We loved how the old structures contrast with the modern city surrounding it. The best part is that the iconic Taipei 101 building towers over the village, making it a striking backdrop for photos. Taipei 101 itself is breathtaking, standing tall with its impressive design. It’s amazing how these two places—one representing Taiwan’s history and the other its modern achievements—exist side by side. Four Four South Village is a great place to explore if you want to experience the cultural and historical side of Taipei. It’s also a peaceful escape from the city, and the kids enjoyed wandering around the open spaces.
