#Taipei Hotel It's been a long time since I went to Taiwan. This time, I went with my partner and my mom. We considered transportation convenience, hotel facilities and prices, and referred to many online reviews. After careful selection, we chose Mitsui Garden Hotel Taipei Zhongxiao as our place of stay during our 5-day, 4-night trip to Taipei. The hotel was newly opened in 2020 and has been well received. Most reviews praised it for its excellent Japanese service, comfortable rooms, luxurious baths, and attentive service with Japanese Kao amenities. Moreover, the hotel is within a 30-second walk from the exit of Zhongxiao Xinsheng MRT Station. We personally experienced this hotel and felt very comfortable and happy. We highly recommend it to everyone! When choosing accommodation, we noticed that this hotel offers a variety of room types. Since the hotel already has a large bath, we booked a King Room without a bathtub. This room type features a city view, 26 square meters/280 square feet (larger than our home), non-smoking, and a King size bed. We stayed for 4 nights, HKD$4012.16 ($1,003.04 per night) The check-in procedure was very smooth. We checked in on time at 3pm. We didn't need to queue up. We could check in with a simple procedure. The hotel specially arranged for Mommy's room to be on the same floor as us, only one room away, which was very considerate. When we booked, we specifically requested a high floor and a view. This time the hotel arranged a room on the 14th floor for us, and we were very satisfied. As soon as we entered the room, we saw the wardrobe, followed by the toilet, bathroom, sink and bedroom space. The room has a very high ceiling and the lighting design is very good, the light is bright and comfortable. The room adopts a simple Japanese design and is very clean, giving people a feeling of being at home and making people feel very relaxed. My favorite is the Japanese TOTO toilet! The bathroom and shower room are separate, and the hotel provides Japanese Kao KAO bath products, which have a pleasant fragrance! The sink is equipped with general toothbrushes and daily necessities. The Japanese-style mini bar is also very exquisite. In addition to coffee, it also provides Japanese tea sets and tea bags. You can return to the hotel after a day's trip and slowly make a pot of tea and have a good rest. The large public bath is located on the top floor of the hotel. It is divided into men's and women's baths. The women's bath requires a dedicated door card to enter. The large public bath has a reclining bathing area and a sky garden outside the window. You can relax and enjoy a quiet time while bathing. Photography is prohibited in the large public bath. The following are pictures provided by the official website. I personally think the facilities of the large bath are complete, although the space is not as big as in the photo. Even if we avoid the peak hours (11pm) to take a bath, there are still many people, and the water is hot water, not hot spring water, so it is less attractive. If you want to enjoy a bath, you can book a room with a bathtub and bring your own bathing agent, which is more comfortable. In summary, we really like and are satisfied with the accommodation quality of Mitsui Garden Hotel Taipei. $1000 per night allows us to enjoy a high-quality Japanese hotel atmosphere in Taipei. Moreover, the hotel's location is very advantageous, right next to the MRT exit, I really recommend it to everyone!
