Pretty salt fields in Tainan

The Jingzaijiao Wapan Salt Fields in Tainan is a salt field demarcated into squares and each square has salt raked into little mountains. This place is known for the sunset during good weather, as the sun and colourful skies will be reflected in the water surfaces of the salt fields. An observation deck is erected next to the fields for a bird's eye view, with two floors for you to choose which level you will like to be on. A section of the fields is dedicated to allow visitors to experience how it is like to rake salt with a rake but sand is used in place of salt. There is also a souvenir shop near the fields if you are looking for any salt related souvenirs. The birthday salts are quite interesting, which are actually fine salts coloured based on the birth date packed into small bottles.
