Stepping into a Time Tunnel: A Cultural Journey to Anping Fort

Last July, I visited Anping Fort in Tainan with a few friends from France. This historic fortress has witnessed the turbulent history of Taiwan. Standing on the red brick walls, with a cool breeze brushing past, we admired the expansive views while discussing the intersection of Taiwanese and European history. My friends were amazed by the Dutch architectural style incorporated into the design and particularly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere surrounding the area. We also explored nearby alleys to savor Tainan's signature snacks, adding a flavorful touch to this cultural journey and creating unforgettable memories for all of us.
