Reason for Bib Gourmand recommendation: High-quality and affordable food. The store uses kelp to make the soup base, which has a clear color and a refreshing taste. It emphasizes using all-natural ingredients and no artificial MSG. We ordered the signature #蛤荷满满 pot-roasted pasta. The clams were big and plump, with a strong seafood flavor, and the ingredients were ample, including shelled red-bearded corn shoots from local small farmers, lean hind leg meat from Taiwanese warm-bodied pigs, rice wine-boiled chilled shrimp, and pakchoy. The pasta is traditionally hand-rolled, with optional softness or hardness. After absorbing the essence of the clam broth, it has a sweet taste and a chewy texture without being mushy, which is an excellent performance. The store also offers traditional pudding and steam-toasted toast, and they particularly emphasize using Japan’s top-notch Bermuda toaster.
