Tainan "Anping Fort"

#Taiwan City Attractions Anping Fort is one of the popular attractions in Anping District. It was formerly known as Orange City, Zeelandia, Anping City, and Taiwan City. It is commonly known as Fort Sanmao, Fort Zeelandia, or Royal City. It was first built by the Dutch in 1624 and is the earliest city in Taiwan. Due to years of destruction and reconstruction, the only authentic remains from the Dutch period are the brick walls of the outer city's southern wall in front of the castle.
