The Taichung National Museum of Science and Technology has numerous exhibition halls, so it's recommended to allow at least one full day for a full day visit. Permanent exhibitions include the Life Science Hall, the Human Culture Hall, the Earth Environment Hall, and the Science Center. There's also a Space Theater, a 3D Theater, and the Bikefly Theater—everything is available. Besides the standard Dinosaur World, the most intriguing permanent exhibition is undoubtedly the Oceania Hall. I don't remember visiting it as a child. The museum keeps up-to-date on the less familiar Oceanic cultures and regularly hosts special exhibitions, which are truly surprising. The 3D Anti-Drug Exhibition of Famous Paintings is also quite interesting. It depicts the effects of drug use on characters from world-famous paintings, providing a warning and truly a collection of museums! Don't miss the Botanical Garden across the street. Besides displaying a variety of warm and tropical plants, the basement floor also houses Amazonian fish, including arapaima, elephant fish, and piranhas—a truly spectacular sight! There's also a mammoth fish feeding show every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 3:30 PM, and a piranha feeding show on Wednesdays at 3:30 PM and Saturdays at 10:30 AM.
