#SoutheastAsianConquest Many people think, "Uyuni is beautiful on TV and social media, but it's far away." ⁡ ⁡ Wouldn't it be nice to experience it a little closer? 😄⁡ ⁡ This photo was taken in the windy winter, but it would be more visible outside of winter 🎶⁡ ⁡ This is Gaomei Wetlands in Taichung, central Taiwan. Taipei is the most famous place in Taiwan⁡ ⁡ There are many tourist spots in Taichung, so if you're in a nearby foreign country, pro-Japan, and the food is delicious, it's a great candidate for a trip🥰⁡ ⁡ ⁡ There are windmills here, so on the day I went in January, I was on my way there⁡ ⁡ There were places where the wind was so strong that I couldn't open my eyes, and the lid of my camera flew off while I was changing the lens😂⁡ ⁡ ⁡ I was excited while walking along the long, well-maintained pier⁡ You can get off at the end of the pier and into the sea.⁡ ⁡ Many locals got off barefoot, but just think about it💦⁡ ⁡ If you go into the sea barefoot in the middle of winter when you're wearing such thick clothes and the wind is strong, your body temperature will drop in an instant.⁡ ⁡ Screams of "Aaah, it's cold!!" came from all over the place. ⁡ I bought rain shoes (about 10cm above the ankle) to go here❢⁡ ⁡ I dressed warmly and enjoyed the change in the color of the sky and sea until and after sunset😊⁡ ⁡ If you go to the very back where there are no people, you are less affected by the wind and you can see the reflection💓Ahh, that was good🥰⁡ ⁡ I was able to go to another place I wanted to go. ⁡ ⁡ 📍Gaomei Wetlands Access⁡ Take the Taiwan Railway Western Main Line Sea Line Local Train (Regular) from Taichung Station and get off at Qingshui. Approximately 50 minutes. 45 NTD. ⁡ Go along the road in front of the station, and from Family Mart, a 2-minute walk away, take Giant Transportation Bus 178 or 179 and get off at Gaomei Wetlands. Approximately 30 minutes. 21 NTD. ⁡ There is also another way to get there by combining a bus and a rental bicycle. ⁡Please double check when you go!
