Walk 10,000 steps and 13 bridges

One day I was talking to a friend about how many bridges there were on Lam Tsuen River. When I checked online, most of them only mentioned five or six of the most representative ones. My friend must have more to say, so I decided to count them along the river. There are pedestrian and bicycle trails along the river, which take you from Tai Po city into the forest, and you can see the sights as you walk. If you have time, you can also explore the scenic spots on both sides of the river. Starting from the outlet of Lam Tsuen River in Tai Po Waterfront Park, it can be roughly divided into three sections. 1. Seaside and New Town Section 1. Perfect Road Tolo Highway northeast of Tai Po 2. Pedestrian and bicycle access 3. Nanyun Road, four lanes 4. Super City Footbridge 5. Baoxiang Bridge replaced the old Guangfu Bridge as a vehicular bridge. It is a must-pass for many public transportation. There are bus and minibus stops named after the bridge at the bridge head. 2. Historical Relics Section 6. Kwong Fook Bridge: It used to be a traffic bridge on the Tai Po seaside. A Chinese-style sedan chair was rebuilt on the site, which can also accommodate bicycles. The shore leads to Fu Shin Street, Man Mo Temple, the well ruins, the Railway Museum, etc. 7. Taihe Bridge: The buildings on the shore gradually changed from old-style Tang buildings to rural bungalows 8. East Rail Line: Bridge across the river between Tai Wo and Tai Po Market Railway 9. Jinhe Bridge: From Taihe Station to Jinshan Village 3. Forest section: from Jinshan to Meishukeng Park 10. Taihe Road: A highway across the river 11. Jinshi Bridge 12.⋯⋯ 13.⋯⋯ When we reached the Tai Po Tau Pumping Station, the river bank had been blocked and it was difficult to walk any further, so we had to stop. There might be an unknown bridge in the upper reaches of the Lam Tsuen River. #HongKongGoodDestination #HolidayGoodDestination #FamilyGoodDestination
