Taebaeksan National Park

#koreatrip "Taebaeksan National Park is an incredible destination, especially in winter when it transforms into a snowy wonderland. I visited during the Taebaeksan Snow Festival, and the entire landscape was covered in a thick, sparkling layer of snow—it was like stepping into a winter fairytale. The hike to the summit was tough due to the cold, but the view from the top was absolutely worth it. The frost-covered trees, known as “snow flowers,” created one of the most magical winter scenes I’ve ever seen. Even outside of winter, Taebaeksan is beautiful, with colorful autumn foliage and blooming wildflowers in spring. The park is well-maintained, and the air was incredibly fresh. I also visited the Cheonjedan Altar, an ancient site used for traditional rituals, adding a unique cultural experience to the trip. If you love winter hiking or want to see Korea’s most beautiful snowy landscapes, Taebaeksan is a must!"
