Did you know that you can get to such a wonderful place in just 30 minutes from the city center (Shinjuku)? The National Showa Memorial Park is easily accessible by train! And Showa Memorial Park is about 180 hectares in size (the size of 39 Tokyo Domes), so it's perfect for a day out. The vast grounds have a wide lawn, gardens, ponds, playgrounds, and more, providing a variety of spaces to enjoy nature. It's great for strolling, picnics, and sports, but if you go in the fall, you should definitely enjoy the autumn leaves. From early to mid-November, the maples and ginkgo trees are dyed in beautiful colors, creating a vivid landscape in the park...♡ And since it's not just one place, the crowds are spread out to some extent◎ Events are often held there too. My favorite spot is the ginkgo tunnel.
