#MayTravelSupport I heard there was a Michelin ramen restaurant in Sydney, so I went to Mensho Tokyo Ramen with great determination! It’s hidden in Temperance Lane in the middle of the CBD, so it’s a little hard to find, but as soon as I arrived, I saw people waiting in line and thought, “This is the right place.” I ordered the signature menu, Toripaitan Ramen… The broth was really crazy. It’s chicken broth-based, but it’s not greasy, and it’s creamy and has a deep flavor. There are four types of chashu, and the quality of each one is no joke! In particular, the chocolate wagyu chashu was unfamiliar, but it was soft and rich. I also ordered enoki chips as a side, and it goes well with a little lemon. The atmosphere of the restaurant is quiet and hip, so it’s comfortable to eat alone, and it’s fun to watch the cooking because it’s an open kitchen. However, the portions are a little disappointing, so if you’re really hungry, I recommend ordering at least one side! Since you can’t make a reservation, it’s better to go a little early.
