Design and Public Areas If Suzhou gardens represent the pinnacle of classical Chinese garden aesthetics, then the public area design of Park Hyatt Suzhou fully showcases this beauty, even making the already excellently designed guest rooms seem a bit subdued. Details such as mirrors, door handles, and carpets in the lobby lounge feature the representative begonia flower patterns of Suzhou gardens; the koi pond surrounding the lobby is planted with many pine trees, standing tall and resilient yet gentle, perfectly matching the Park Hyatt brand tone. The corridor leading to the guest rooms incorporates the sliding door design of Suzhou residences. Afternoon sunlight spills onto the marble floors and walls, with schools of koi swimming under the pine trees in the pond, creating a leisurely and pleasant atmosphere. On the first floor, there is the Black Pearl restaurant Xizhou Xuan (named after the hotel's location on Xizhou Road), serving authentic and delicious Suzhou cuisine. As a Hyatt member, the front desk upgraded the room to a Ferris wheel view room, with views of Jinji Lake, Indigo Suzhou Hotel, the Ferris wheel, and the distant "Autumn Pants Building," offering a broad vista. - Room Details: Each room has a small foyer table outside the door, decorated with a golden cricket and a small cage, adding a playful touch. The room is 60 square meters with a three-part layout including a washroom/closet, bedroom, and living room, spacious and comfortable. The washroom and bedroom are separated by double sliding doors, echoing the lobby design, with dark green tones and begonia patterns adding a stately residence feel; the bedroom and living area are divided by a screen resembling Suzhou embroidery, making the layout bright and comfortable. - Thoughtful Amenities: It was a birthday stay, and the hotel specially decorated the room, gifting a cake, a card, and red wine. Next to the restaurant is the koi pond, where diners can enjoy watching large fish swimming, creating a very relaxing atmosphere.
