Suzhou's third garden: The Master of the Nets Garden was first built in the Southern Song Dynasty (1127). It was originally the Wanjuan Hall of the Song Dynasty book collector Shizhengzhi, and the garden was named Yuyin, which was later abandoned. During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, Song Zongyuan, the deputy chief of the Guanglu Temple, retired and bought it and rebuilt it, and named it the Master of the Nets Garden. The Master of the Nets Garden is a typical private garden with a combination of houses and gardens. All pavilions, towers, and pavilions are near the water. The whole garden is compact and reasonable. It is a representative work of medium-sized classical landscape gardens and is a national key cultural relic protection unit and a world cultural heritage.
