Climbing the Lingbai Trail again, endless spring beauty on perilous peaks

The Lingbai Trail, the most popular hiking route in Suzhou, starts at Lingyan Mountain and ends at Baima Jian. In spring, the scenery along the way is beautiful, with towering trees on both sides of the Lingyan Mountain road, hiking the mountain paths with their rugged rocks, and some sections of the terrain are steep, with exposed tree roots and gravel. Upon reaching the summit, the spring beauty is boundless. After more than three hours of mountain hiking, we finally arrived at Baima Jian, with its clear lake water, mountains all around, and spectacular scenery. Having passed the age of sixty, hiking the Lingbai Trail is a test of physical strength and a tempering of will.
