The interior is lined with antiques, old movie posters, and ceramics, and the retro Korean atmosphere that feels like a time limit is one of the charms of Wondepo (One Depot). ✨ Popular menu items include homemade makgeolli served in a kettle with ice, gamjajeong (potato pancake), and kalbi. The gamjajeong (potato pancake) in particular was praised by a famous Korean gourmet cartoonist as having a 6-star hotel-quality taste and "better than a 5-star hotel." 🌟 I went there specifically for this dish, and I was impressed first by its beautiful appearance. It was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, incomparable to any gamjajeong I'd had before. The simple nature of the dish made it even more apparent that each dish was carefully prepared. 🥹 The kalbi (short ribs) were tender, perfectly coated in a sweet and spicy sauce. It's incredibly delicious and goes perfectly with alcohol! ✨ This restaurant has a small staff, and all of its food is carefully prepared by hand. It's known for the long wait time from order to serving, but many customers still come back for it.
