Wat Kuak Khae, Chiang Rai

From Chiang Rai Airport to the city center, on Route 1 heading towards the Clock Tower, it is on the right side after passing Macro Supermarket on the left. I always saw it from the car window and was curious about it, so I decided to walk there. There is no admission fee. It is along the national highway, so it is a little difficult to get to and a hidden spot that tourists do not go to. It is very beautiful and wonderful to see. The Great Buddha seen from directly below is very impressive and worth seeing. As of early November 2024, the standing statue of the Great Buddha is currently under repair and cannot be seen. There are not many people, so you can take your time to look at the details.
