Rich history and culture, Suqian

Suqian, formerly known as Xiang, is the hometown of Xiang Yu, the Hegemon-King of Western Chu. It has a civilization history of more than 5,000 years and a city history of more than 2,700 years. It was once the capital of the Zhongwu Kingdom. With a long history and rich culture, it is known as the "Vein of Chinese Civilization, Root of Jiangsu Civilization, and Soul of Chu-Han Culture"! ⛺[Must-see attractions]: 1️⃣Suqian Museum (9:00–10:00) (Take a taxi from Suqian Station to the museum) Opening hours: 9:00–16:30. The museum has two floors and many cultural relics unearthed in Suqian. You can learn about the history and culture of Suqian. 2️⃣Hometown of Xiang Yu (10:00–12:00) (It's right next to the Xuzhou Museum, very close!) CNY 80. You can learn all about Xiang Yu's stories, such as Farewell My Concubine and The Song of Gaixia! A must-see in Suqian! 3️⃣Haoran Ganmianpi (12:00–12:30) (Walk about 200 meters from the Hometown of Xiang Yu) Suqian's ganmianpi is very famous! Try a mix of liangpi and ganmianpi, and it tastes good. 4️⃣Bajiaolou Bookstore (12:30–12:45) (Walk about 200 meters from Haoran Ganmianpi) There is only one floor. Take a break here after lunch. 5️⃣Dongguankou Historical and Cultural Park (12:45–14:00) (Walk about 1 km) Take a walk after lunch. The park was originally the location of the Suqian Pass of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal in the Ming and Qing Dynasties! You can overlook the whole park from the city wall at the South Gate! 6️⃣Yingxun Lane (14:00–14:45) (Take a taxi from the park to here) The whole lane is small but worth a visit. The shops are interesting, both inside and outside, and very photogenic! ~Mianqian Tofu Shop, ordered a signature osmanthus dish~ very delicious! 7️⃣Jesus Church (14:45–15:00) (Walk about 200 meters from the west entrance of Yingxun Lane) Built in 1925, it was the largest church in Suqian at that time. It has now become a cultural relic protection unit in Jiangsu Province. Walk around the Jesus Church, and you'll find it very photogenic! 8️⃣Xinsheng Street (15:00–16:30) (Walk 1 km, still no shared electric vehicle) Xinsheng Street is worth a visit. The street is large and has a high walkability! There is a God of Wealth Temple! You can worship the God of Wealth~ No ticket required. The Palace of the Duke of Xianyou is also worth a visit. If you want to experience glass making, there is also a glass workshop here. 9️⃣Powerlong Night Market (16:30–18:30) (Walk about 1 km from Xinsheng Street) There are two night markets facing each other, separated by a road.
