Wat Mahathat, Sukhothai

The first place we explored was Phra Wihan Sung (pictured above). It is located in front of Phra Wihan Luang. It is a temple built later in Ayutthaya style. The height of the chapel is similar to that of temples in Ayutthaya, made of bricks and laterite pillars. Inside the chapel is a stucco Buddha statue in Ayutthaya style. Does it look familiar?
