Three-Color Road, a hidden gem in Osaka to view autumn leaves

The Three-Color Road, or 三色彩道 (Sanshikisaido), is a road lined with maple trees on both sides, stretching for about 1 kilometer. By the end of November, the leaves change into beautiful colors. This place is not well-known among foreign tourists, but locals love to visit and take photos. Getting there is easy. Take the Hankyu line and get off at Kita-Senri Station, the terminal station. If you take the correct line, you won't get lost. Once you arrive, walk east, cross the main road, and you will find the Three-Color Road. The road is straight and slopes uphill to about the midpoint where you will find a traffic light intersection. After the intersection, the road slopes downhill, but not as steep as the other side. Visiting in the late afternoon is ideal as the sunlight beautifully illuminates the leaves.
