Dushan Ancient Village, a forgotten millennium-old village

Dushan Village, also known as "Dushan Ancient Village", is located 50 kilometers southwest of Suichang County, Lishui City, and is one of the three historical conservation areas in Zhejiang Province. The village is named "Dushan" because the Tianma Mountain where the village is located is independent of the east bank of the Wuxi River, and the village has a history of more than 1,000 years. Most of the buildings in Dushan Village are from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, including ancient wells, stone archways, and village walls from the Ming Dynasty, and the Ye Clan Ancestral Hall and Baoshou Temple, which were rebuilt during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, are full of historical charm. The centuries-old buildings carry the deepest cultural heritage of Dushan Village. It is so low-key and simple, everything still maintains its original charm. The hurried time cannot erase the marks engraved here by history, and it also allows me, who lives in the bustling city, to fulfill a dream of a millennium-old village.
