The overall architectural image of Stanford University can be said to be synonymous with the revival of Spanish architecture: red tile roofs, gray walls, and characteristic colonnades that can be seen at every corner. 🏫Entering Stanford University, the first thing you see is the red-roofed buildings surrounded by tan stone walls, with arches connecting them and rows of palm trees. It is full of rich cultural and academic atmosphere in the interplay of classical and modern styles. 🏫The Main Quad is located at the center of Stanford, surrounded by the School of Business, School of Earth Sciences, School of Education, School of Engineering, School of Law, School of Medicine, and more. 🏫Standing in the square is Rodin's representative group sculpture "The Burghers of Calais", showcasing Rodin's superb artistic skills with profound expression in this sculpture. 🏫In the iconic buildings of Stanford University, the Hoover Tower was built to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the founding of Stanford, and to commemorate the great contribution of then US President Hoover to the construction of the school. 🏫Stanford Memorial Church is the earliest and most outstanding interdenominational church in the western United States. The natural stone arches and copper main door of the church are thick and artistic. The composition, painting, and use of color in the murals on the windows are exquisite, worthy of being called the "crown jewel of Stanford University architecture". ☕️If you're tired from shopping, you can take a break at the Stanford Bookstore, where coffee and snacks are available.
