Swiss journey: Sharing beloved towns and cities 🇨🇭

Where to Go in 2024 🌍 This Swiss journey took us on a grand tour of the entire country, passing through snow-capped mountains, lakes, and quaint towns. From Zermatt to Montreux and Interlaken, to Lucerne, Zurich, and Geneva, every step felt like wandering through a painting. Lungern, a picturesque town with few tourists, was particularly enchanting, making us want to stay and become a carefree dog 🐶. The awe-inspiring beauty of Zermatt was also unforgettable. Here are some of our favorite towns and cities: ✔️ Lungern (Photos 1 & 2) 🏔️🌊 Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, waterfalls, rivers, emerald lakes, and churches, Lungern is a veritable paradise on a sunny day. The Tiffany blue hue of Lake Lungern is simply mesmerizing, and the sight of trains passing through the town makes it feel as if time itself has been captivated by the stunning scenery. ✔️ Zermatt (Photos 3 & 4) 🏔️❄️ Nestled beneath the majestic Matterhorn, this enchanting town was blanketed in snow during our visit, making it feel like a true fairytale. Zermatt is undoubtedly one of Switzerland's top destinations, and we even had the chance to try snow paragliding, an exhilarating experience! ✔️ Montreux (Photo 5) 🏰🌸 With a lakeside castle, flowers, and snow-capped mountains in the distance, Montreux offers breathtaking views of the Alps and a serene atmosphere. Strolling along the promenade, one can truly appreciate the grandeur and tranquility of the region. ✔️ Interlaken (Photos 6-8) 🏞️🚶‍♂️ Home to Lake Brienz, Switzerland's purest lake with crystal-clear waters, and the panoramic trail of Lake Thun, Interlaken offers stunning vistas at every turn. It's also an outdoor enthusiast's paradise, with opportunities for hiking, climbing, and mountaineering. ✔️ Zurich (Photo 9) 🏙️🎨 As Switzerland's financial and cultural hub, Zurich boasts a rich artistic atmosphere and fascinating historical sites.
