The location of the hotels next to the city centre is ideal because you save the time from going around searching for cafes, restaurants and even supermarkets. Don't forget to visit Mdina, the old capital of Malta which is a gateway to history- it is peaceful and has many cafes which offer delicious food. I would highly recommend Fontanella cafe, don't forget to try their signature chocolate cake.
