#SummerCampaign Spiš Castle, towering over eastern Slovakia, is one of Europe's largest castle ruins, a magnificent expanse of stone ruins. 🏰 Built atop a vast hill, it offers spectacular views of the surrounding countryside and villages. ✨ Its architectural beauty, a blend of Gothic and Renaissance styles, is also a highlight, allowing you to experience the romance of history firsthand. When I actually visited, I was amazed at the size of the castle ruins. Climbing the stairs and towers felt like I was a medieval knight. On a clear day, you can see all the way to the Carpathian Mountains, making it a great location for photography. 📸 [Access] It's about an hour's drive from Košice or Prešov. While public transportation is available, renting a car is the most efficient option. 🚗 💡Travel Tip: The castle ruins are large and have many slopes, so it's best to bring comfortable walking shoes and a drink.
