The weather was delightful, with a light breeze rustling through the trees as joggers and cyclists passed by. The South Bank Parklands are a true oasis in the city, blending lush greenery with urban charm. I made a quick stop at Streets Beach, a man-made beach with crystal-clear waters and golden sand, surrounded by tropical landscaping. It was fascinating to see families enjoying a beach day right in the heart of the city. After exploring the parklands, I headed to the Nepalese Peace Pagoda. Its intricate wood carvings and tranquil atmosphere were a pleasant surprise. For lunch, I chose one of the many riverside cafes, indulging in a delicious plate of fish and chips while watching ferries glide along the Brisbane River.
