Sousse, Tunisia: A Stroll Through the City

Sousse is considered the third largest city in Tunisia, located about 140 km south of Tunis. It is a beautiful coastal city that can be reached by bus from Tunis. The city is very picturesque and is often referred to as the 'Pearl of the Sahel.' Its old town is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Entering the Medina, the streets continue along a gentle slope. The contrast between the white walls and blue doors is simply stunning. You can stop by a café or peek into the shops. Just walking around the city is a delightful experience.
