I came to Songzhuang Village for the third time. Every time I just walked around the village and left in a hurry. This time I stayed for two days and found the beauty of Songzhuang. I got up early and bought fresh chestnuts and peach gum at the entrance of the village. In the afternoon, I had a cup of coffee in the cafe, stroked the stray cats in the village, and took photos on the stone arch bridge and met the enthusiastic dog at the small shop at the bridge head. I found that the quiet beauty of the ancient village needs time to experience. This time I stayed in "Taoye" in Songzhuang, which was designed by Lv Xiaohui, the same designer as Naked Castle. It integrates simple mud walls and wooden pillars with modern elements, retains the simplicity and tranquility of the homestay, and does not lose the modern petty bourgeoisie. The housekeeper service also makes people feel warm and meticulous. The luggage was arranged in advance, and a map of the ancient village and mosquito repellent were given. Before checking out, I also gave a gift, which was considerate and thoughtful. Each room type of Taoye is taken from the keywords of a poem, and the romance of the poem is integrated into the mountains and fields. Such small details really poke me. This time I stayed in the "gift" on the hillside, backed by the bamboo sea, quiet and natural, the ink stone floor and table top are simple and not without texture, the room is equipped with a shared living room and a separate yard. Get up early and have a cup of tea in the yard. Stretching and relaxing is also very comfortable. The three meals a day in Taoye all use seasonal fresh ingredients. On the first night I arrived in Songzhuang, I also ate the hot tofu soup in Songyang. After the bumpy mountain road, I can eat such delicious food, and I also have a simple and comfortable sense of happiness. The simpler the food is in the mountains and fields, the more satisfying it is to eat. The homestay also provides many interesting handmade experiences.
