🧩 Visit “Huanglong Park” or “Yellow Dragon Valley”, a natural resource rich in the Minshan Mountains. It is complete with waterfalls, hot springs, and the highlight of this place, “Limestone Pools”, a travertine lake with more than 3,400 small pools cascading down the mountain ridge amidst natural vegetation and wildlife.
🍂 But this time, it was in winter, which was slow and quite difficult to walk. The entire walking path was surrounded by snow. The water in the pools/waterfalls was pure white ice all over the area, leaving only the hot springs…but it can still be confirmed that it is “beautiful” in another way, just like the rumor that it is “heavenly land”.
🎈Huanglong Park was therefore registered as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1992 and is a 5A-level tourist attraction in the Sichuan region. Famous
🚝 Travel: Take the high-speed train from Chengdu Station to Huanglong Jiuzhaigou Station (90 minutes, first-class train price 2,500 baht), then take a bus or taxi to Huanglong Park (60 minutes).
👉 Tips:
1. Since it is a high-altitude area (3,500 meters), you should walk slowly and carry/use canned oxygen.
2. From the front of the park, you can choose to walk up the mountain (about 7 kilometers) or choose to take a bus and then a cable car to the upper zone (costs about 2,000 baht).
