Huanglong Scenic Area is known as the "Jade Pool and Paradise on Earth." The colorful pools are low and staggered, and each pool is filled with crystal-clear water. From a distance, the pools look like jade plates in different shades of white, purple, blue, and green. The colors change with the surrounding scenery and the angle of the sunlight. The high-speed rail station is closer to Huanglong than Jiuzhaigou. If you plan to visit both places, we recommend visiting Huanglong in the morning and staying overnight in Jiuzhaigou. Huanglong Scenic Area is full of calcium carbonate deposits arranged in terraces. The colorful pools, snow-capped mountains, waterfalls, and ancient temples complement each other.
