Tickets are return and though prices have increased it's still affordable. The lift tracks are covered so there's no view but the lift is air conditioned, which is a godsend in the killer heat (bring umbrellas). To find the royal pavilion, to the right side after the bell tower there's a downhill stairway flanked by gold dragons, walk down it to reach.
