Songkhla National Museum

Songkhla National Museum is considered a national historical site, located in the old city of Songkhla, right across from the old city wall. This place has a Chinese-Western architectural style and is over a hundred years old. Originally, this place was the mansion of Phraya Sunthonurak (Net Na Songkhla), who was an assistant to the Songkhla provincial government at that time. Later, it was used as a government office in many departments until it became the current national museum. Inside, there are exhibitions about Songkhla province and the lower south. The entrance fee is only 30 baht per person. Students in uniform, monks, novices and nuns get in free.
