Giant fish trap

The first giant fish trap was built in 2017 with the cooperation of the government and the community. It used 10,000 bamboo poles to build it by tightening the screws and connecting them in layers using local wisdom. It has become an important tourist attraction. On holidays, villagers would gather to sell their products at the market. Later, the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020 caused the market to be sluggish. In 2021, a storm hit, flooding as high as 3 meters and knocking down the giant fish trap in the blink of an eye. Then, around the middle of 2024, our giant fish trap was revived as a new version that uses steel as the main structure, making it stronger. It combines bamboo poles, building it 4 stories high and having another roof (the mouth of the trap) that you can climb up to touch the horizon and enjoy a 360-degree view.
