Wat Sirindhorn Wararam Phu Phrao or as everyone calls it Wat Rueang Saeng is located in Sirindhorn District, Ubon Ratchathani Province, which is a district bordering Laos. You can visit and go to Chong Mek to continue your trip to Laos. The atmosphere at the temple is cool and comfortable. You can see the view of Sirindhorn Dam and the other side can see the view of Laos. At the chapel, there is a picture of a Kalpavriksha tree. When the sun sets and you wait until it gets completely dark, it will glow. It is very beautiful, attracting many tourists, both Thais and foreigners. If you have never been to Ubon, you can start here. You can worship, make merit, enjoy the view, take pictures, and definitely go back happily. The temple grounds have a lot of parking space, accommodating many tourists. You will see some groups coming by tour bus from other provinces, but everyone keeps the peace. It is like a sacred place, so it does not look chaotic even though there are a lot of people. I recommend coming when the sun is about to set. You will get a breeze and a view of the sunset and the weather is cool and comfortable. It is very suitable to come in winter, but you can also come in the rainy season. The nature is beautiful. Just check the weather conditions to make sure that it is suitable. Otherwise, you will become a victim of disaster. Every important religious day, there is a candle procession. Many Buddhists will gather here. As for us, we have never been on a Buddhist holy day. Entrance is free.
