Nature In The City, Punggol Park

We visited on a cloudy weekday. Take MRT NEL to Punggol station. Following Google direction, an easy 10-15 mins walk. We realised later the park is accessible from the newly opened Waterway Point Mall. From MRT station, take Exit A. Walk into mall, go one level down to B1. Somewhere near the ToastBox cafe is a staircase to walk down to the park. We didn't need sunscreen or mosquito repellent. But do bring some if you are sensitive to the sun/mosquitoes. There are several playgrounds for the little ones. Do watch out for cyclists. Pedestrian / cyclist paths are not clearly marked out at some places in the park. Also take note of warning about stray dogs. We saw 3 from a distance. They were passing through the park, quite harmless. Overall a great park to bring the family out.
