Allotment Garden @ Punggol Park
#celebratewithtrip
Even the locals doesn’t know. 😏 You can actually rent a space for gardening in Singapore Parks!
The allotment garden @ Punggol Park is for aspiring gardeners to lease/rent a small plot of land/soil to grow their plants.
There is a wide variety of plants and vegetables grown by different people, many gardening tools can also be seen. Most of the plants, not all.. are well cultivated and maintained and some fruits and vegetables are even ready to be harvested.
For more Information, can check with NParks directly.
Sometimes I also see a group of gardeners meeting and chatting while they intend to their own plants in the evening.
A small cool and unknown spot for plant lovers!

Reasons to come here
- you want to bring your dog out for a meal with you
- you dont have a dog but you want to look at cute dogs
- paw parents to gather and celebrate their paw babies' birthday
We witnessed a dog's birthday party here and it was so cute! Its owners prepared slides, birthday cake, food for dogs and human, and many cute dogs!
We ordered pasta and burger. Like both, especially their fries. So crispy and generously served.
Since it is located in a park, head out for a walk to burn those calories after your meal!

Nice small park suitable for jog and walks!

Punggol Park - Located at Hougang instead of Punggol actually! (Very often, People do mix this up with Punggol Waterway Park instead)
Address: Hougang Ave 10, Singapore 538768
It’s pretty much a nice small cosy park suitable for jogging and walking. You will usually see many people walking their dogs in the evening or perhaps just taking a stroll after dinner.
It’s around 1.5km for one round?
usually takes me around 3 rounds to complete my 5km runs.
There’s also a small Bistro Cafe that is pet friendly right in the middle of the park with a small nice river scenery!
Quite decent and yummy food and good to chill around with your furkid and friends!

A healthy way to start a weekend is either to cycle, run or do a nice stroll along the north of Singapore in Punggol.
There is a park connector which stretches from punggol to buangkok with an estimate distance of 6.1km. Who says north side do not have nice views right!
This park connector is one of the newer park connector in singapore and its well maintained which was opened in 2010 and boosts the biodiversity in the area featuring many wildlife like different species of birds. Along this park you will also be able to see views of the Straits of johor.⁹

It serves as a recreational centre for the residence of Hougang. Popular activities here include cycling, jogging and walking. One of the key features is the large pond and many trails going around it.

Nature In The City, Punggol Park
We visited on a cloudy weekday. Take MRT NEL to Punggol station. Following Google direction, an easy 10-15 mins walk. We realised later the park is accessible from the newly opened Waterway Point Mall. From MRT station, take Exit A. Walk into mall, go one level down to B1. Somewhere near the ToastBox cafe is a staircase to walk down to the park.
We didn't need sunscreen or mosquito repellent. But do bring some if you are sensitive to the sun/mosquitoes.
There are several playgrounds for the little ones. Do watch out for cyclists. Pedestrian / cyclist paths are not clearly marked out at some places in the park.
Also take note of warning about stray dogs. We saw 3 from a distance. They were passing through the park, quite harmless.
Overall a great park to bring the family out. Away from frenzy downtown.

Here at the punggol resort, you are very close to the natural environment . There are horses, chickens, ducks, rabbits hamsters, and other small animals for you to play with. The resort is air-conditioned and it comes with a private bathroom. Our room is a family room that comes with a queen sized bed and two single beds. This is an incredible park! It’s huge and every area is beautifully kept. There’re loads to admire and explore throughout the park. There is a restaurant (opening soon) with limited parking, nice walking bridges, more natural wild areas and picnic areas - there’s something for everyone. From kids roller blading to older folks doing tai-chi and of course the runners and cyclist, everybody doing their own thing and respectful of each other’s space, Totally Wholesome! You may see otters, lizards, monkeys, and turtles if you're lucky!
Macau..a city that never sleeps
Macau.. Not just a casino city .but a city of good shopping, sight seeing, magnificent and grand buildings and design and good food. From London to Paris to gistorival sight and local food. Simple love the space that Macau has created. Efficient transport system as well which makes it easy to travel between Macau and cotai. No messy and traffic jam which we like. Go for casino hopping and be member of different casinos. Tts what we did and collected the card as memorabilia. 😊
Easy to get in to Macau by air Macau which offers buy 1 free 1 promo. Very good deal. For stay, suggest cotai area, either the venetian or Parisian. Very good and beautiful hotel.
A city that never sleeps, a city that wows you and a city with good food. We will be back for more.
