Exploring Arab Street & Kampong Glam

Getting There - Nearest MRT is East- West (Green) Line Bugis Station. Abt 10 Mins walk. Attractions - Arab Street, Sultan Mosque, Kampong Glam and surrounding During my station at Intercontinental Hotel, I became a tourist in my own country and explored the Arab Street, Kampong Glam and the surrounding areas. The area is so amazing and captivating and full of vibrancy. Rich in history and traditionally a congregation area for Muslim immigration from the past, the area retains the culture and traditions up to today. The modern skyscrapers in the background creates an interesting view and reflects the seamless integration of historical and modern buildings . The first sight that catches your attention in the area is the Sultan Mosque, a landmark of the area with a long history.
