Relaxing English Afternoon Tea, Goodwood Park

#musteat Located on the ground floor lobby of the stately Goodwood Park Hotel, the L'Espresso serves English Afternoon Tea for those looking to dine leisurely and catch up with good friends over a cup of hot tea or coffee. The hotel is old but still looking grand even after many years. There are 2 sittings for the afternoon tea and I took the earlier time alot which starts at 12pm. The tea is served buffet self service style with hot selections like laksa, chilicrab mantou, satay and mee siam, and also with usual favourites like ham and cheese sandwiches, foccacia bread, mixed salad with cold cuts as well as scones with jam. I enjoyed the pumpkin soup as well which was served warm in a hot pot. Desserts include ondeh ondeh and cheesecake, fruits and mango pomelo pudding.
