Its sheer size is a testament to the grandeur of this building. It is said that the shape of the building is actually in a form of a tombstone, and was constructed as a memorial for the fallen Japanese in Singapore during WWII. A little grim but once you’re inside, you’ll probably be more absorbed in all the shopping and dining available there!
