Nostalgic SG Pop Culture exhibition

Given the diversity of the different ethnic groups in Singapore (eg language, religion and food), the Singapop exhibition at ArtScience Museum explores things that unite Singaporeans and give a common sense of identity. I like the interactive elements eg wrist bands to try the Singlish quizzes, and the interactive food stores. The finale was my favourite. Its a rousing performance of a 900-strong virtual choir who sang Home (from their homes during the Circuit Breaker back in 2020). It showed Singaporeans in SG as well as different parts of the world who could not return due to the pandemic, and paid tribute to healthcare workers. It was so touching that it brought tears to my eyes. #singaporeguide
