Dessert time at Keong Saik Bakery

Keong Saik Bakery sells pastries and cakes that fuses local flavours in them. I had previously tried the croissants and pastries which my friend had bought for me, hence I decided to try their cake when I stumbled upon their physical store. As it was a weekday, I had the chance to dine in. On weekends, due to limited seats, it is only open for takeaway. As the bakery is located in one of those heritage shophouses, the exterior of the cafe looks unique with the old school style entrance. Had the dirty matcha latte and seashore cheesecake. The seashore cheesecake, as the name implies, has the colours of the beach; blue on the top and brown at the bottom. The blue ganache is made from sea salt and butterfly pea flower which gives the blue shade. The ganache tastes more on the milky side, and the salt taste is mild to none at all. The brown earl grey cheesecake and cookie base are my favourite parts of the cake, as the tea taste is strong yet not overpowering. While the latte is not as dirty as I thought, I can taste the strong matcha powder in it. #moreinsg
