First COACH Cafe in the world.
It’s a one-of-a-kind experience at COACH’s first bespoken concept store in Asia. The three-storey shophouse in Keong Siak Road is inspired by the house's New York spirit.
Six concepts rooms to explore, featuring Coach's latest collection of bags, ready-to-wear, vintage leather goods even an immersive experience room. But the highlight will be Coach Cafe where guests get to enjoy artisanal coffee and NYC-inspired bites crafted in collaboration with Brawn & Brains.

Italian Tradition - The Pasta Bar
Located strategically in Keong Saik Road, the Pasta Bar is 100% worth the visit for pasta-lovers. They have each and every one of their pasta shapes handmade daily - so fresh you can taste the love & effort put in!
They are also known for their impeccable service and the staffs will not fail to check-in with each guest on the quality of the food, which adds a personal touch. Located right in the middle of the bar is their cooking station, allowing diners to watch the chefs prepare the dishes, like a well-orchestrated performance.
Tip: Reserve your table in advance as they are fully booked at many times, therefore walk-ins are not recommended.

Christmas Wanderland Market @ Working Capitol
This was such a fun weekend activity! We visited The working capitol that is located about a 8mins walk from Outram MRT. It was a pretty big Christmas Wanderland pop-up market and there was lots of craft shops selling, artisanal candles, chocolate, Crystals and lots of handmade jewellery.
We managed to buy a few items for christmas gifts and they were all pretty affordable as they had a special price for that day! 🤭 We bought some artisanal chocolate from poland and some handmade candle and room mist from the wicked club a singapore grown boutique company.
It was such a great shopping experience 🤩🧡
Cafe in A Work Space
Usually, we will spot a cafe in a mall, along the streets at a shop house or situated on its own as a stand alone shop, but you definitely won't think of a cafe inside a working space. However, this is true for a cafe called the Coexist cafe inside the working capitol (a work space office) at 1 keong saik street. This is pretty unique! When you enter the Cafe, you smell the nice aroma of coffee. I order a hot latte and it was easy and light to drink, and for $6 a cup, it is not too expensive. Food wise I ordered a chilli crab burger and a Har cheong gai burger. They ran out of burger bun and substituted it with bread. Because of that, I felt the burgers weren't that amazing but it was still ok to eat. The cafe is open everyday, so give it a visit if you need some food and coffee.

Burnt Cheesecake @Keong Saik Bakery
If you are one that fancy cheesecake and would like to have suggestions for tea, I would recommend that you check out Keong Saik Bakery.
Other than the standard cheesecake flavours, they have duo flavour cheesecake (see pictures) so if you cannot decide on the flavour, choose this. If you are one who likes to try new things, then check out their seasonal cheesecake.
Beverages wise, they offer the standard latte, hot cocca and also chilled bottled drink.
Delivery and takeaway options are available for those who may want to avoid the crowd and dine in still.

Self-walking tour around Tanjong Pagar area
This is an area full of history. We love the architecture of the historic buildings here. You can start your tour from the Potato Head buidling and walk along Keong Saik Road to explore the iconic row of shop houses. These conserved shophouses have been leased as office/co-working space or F&B. From here, you can walk towards Neil road. The junction of Neil Road and Craig Road used to be the original home of the famous TIGER PALM factory.
Do map out your route before hand as there are many Korean and Japanese restaurants in this area too. You can plan such that the walking tour ends with a Korean lunch at a BBQ restaurant in Tanjong Pagar area.

Dessert time at Keong Saik Bakery
Keong Saik Bakery sells pastries and cakes that fuses local flavours in them. I had previously tried the croissants and pastries which my friend had bought for me, hence I decided to try their cake when I stumbled upon their physical store. As it was a weekday, I had the chance to dine in. On weekends, due to limited seats, it is only open for takeaway. As the bakery is located in one of those heritage shophouses, the exterior of the cafe looks unique with the old school style entrance.
Had the dirty matcha latte and seashore cheesecake. The seashore cheesecake, as the name implies, has the colours of the beach; blue on the top and brown at the bottom. The blue ganache is made from sea salt and butterfly pea flower which gives the blue shade. The ganache tastes more on the milky side, and the salt taste is mild to none at all. The brown earl grey cheesecake and cookie base are my favourite parts of the cake, as the tea taste is strong yet not overpowering. While the latte is not as dirty as I thought, I can taste the strong matcha powder in it.

wine & chef
wine & chef is a perfect place for a gathering with your friends, or a perfect date spot. it is located at Keong saik road, which is relatively near to outram mrt. the restaurant serves Italian food, with an Asian twist to it.
i tried the Scallop Capellini and it is the best dish in my opinion. the pasta came with fresh Hokkaido scallops and they were very soft, perfect. also ordered the lobster pasta and wow, the lobsters were really fresh and nice.
for sides, I ordered a crab cake and Thai style Asari clams. i preferred the clams as the sauce was really good and not too sweet, just nice. the crab cake had a nutty sauce to it. overall my experience was great, the food was really delicious and the interior environment made it comfortable. highly recommended!

#wheretogo
This is one of my favourite hood to hang out in Singapore. One thing that’s practically unmissable is the the stark building with red detailing. Keong Saik area is filled with many bars and eateries. I guess that’s because Keong Saik Road used to be a red-light district prior gentrification. There are also many hidden graffiti and wall murals. If you are in the area, look out for those interesting wall murals ! #timetotravel #singapore #rediscoversg #rediscoversingapore #barsingapore #barhopping
